Level 1 is for beginning tappers.
Recent research has shown that we need to vary the types of movement we experience each day and that including bouncing, for example, is a necessary complement to our yoga practice that also strengthens bone. Like Yoga, Tap Dance works on balance and posture. It improves mental health with focus, memorization of steps and rhythms, and coordination of body and mind. With its cardio workout, you also burn calories ... always a plus! But most of all it’s FUN!!

Props: Tap shoes not required; tennis shoes work just as well.
