Class Description
This class is appropriate for all ages and abilities.
Tired of standing? Can't stand easily? This class is for you!
In this practice, yoga poses are modified to be done seated in a chair to maintain and strengthen balance and stability and increase muscle strength, joint flexibility, and overall mobility. The chair can also be used to explore variations of most poses, including standing poses. This class is appropriate for all levels. Even experienced yogis will discover something new through this seated practice.
Props: For this class, you’ll want to have a chair that does not have arms; a 6-ft to 8-ft strap or belt; and a tennis ball.
